Jasmeen Kairam, Secretary

Jasmeen Kairam is currently the Capacity Building Coordinator at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence where she assist the North, South, and Bay Area regions. She also assists with the distance learning program. Jasmeen was introduced to the world of social injustices, specifically human trafficking, while attending California State University, Chico in 2012. She spent her undergrad years raising awareness about human trafficking and its prevalence to her peers, professors and community members. In 2016, Jasmeen had the privilege to serve as Human Trafficking Specialist/Communications and Volunteer Coordinator at My Sister’s House which is an agency that provides culturally responsive services. During this time, Jasmeen coordinated their annual human trafficking conference with increasing audience numbers each year. She also assisted South Asian clients and their needs as she is tri-lingual in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
