Rejie Marie Baloyos is a dynamic and multifaceted professional driven by a profound dedication to empowering and guiding young individuals in achieving their aspirations. As an author of the transformative guidebook “Become A Successful Immigrant,” she wholeheartedly commits herself to exploring effective strategies that uplift the lives of new immigrants, enabling them to thrive in their new environments. Central to her mission is the development of Connect, Learn, Act, Progress, Self-Determination (CLAPS) framework, which serves as a fundamental pillar for pursuing success.
Having experienced the journey of an immigrant herself and as a dedicated community advocate, Baloyos deeply understands the unique challenges faced by people of color, low-income groups, and underserved communities. For over a decade, she has been a stalwart champion for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touches. Her relentless efforts were recognized in 2015 when she received the prestigious Advocate of the Year award from the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV). Through her compassionate and transformative work, Baloyos continues to make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals, fostering hope and creating pathways for a brighter and more equitable future.
Baloyos earned an M.A. in International and Multicultural Education, specializing in Human Rights from the University of San Francisco, alongside a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the Philippines. Additionally, Baloyos is a proud CORO Fellow through the Human Trafficking Leadership Academy and a Leadership Education & Advancement Professional (LEAP) Fellow through VALORUS.
Beyond her remarkable career and advocacy work, Baloyos nurtures a diverse set of passions that invigorate her life—finding serenity and excitement in kayaking, immersing herself in the beauty of nature through gazing, capturing cherished moments through photography, and enriching her mind through the joy of reading.
